Music Department Overview
The Music Department of the Nutley Public Schools provides students the opportunity to create, perform, critique, and develop an understanding and respect for music in all its forms. Our philosophy is that music is an essential aspect of human existence and music education is therefore a crucial component to the total education of the students in Nutley. The performance-based curriculum aims to equip students planning to study music in college with the foundation needed for success, as well as give students with other interests the opportunities only found through music learning and live performance.
