Happy October, Music Families and Staff! 🍂
Nutley Music is off to a fantastic start this school year — our students are already performing, competing, and fundraising with great enthusiasm! Thank you to everyone who attended our September meeting, volunteered at events, or supported our early fundraisers. Your involvement continues to make a meaningful impact on every student in our music programs.
This month brings several exciting opportunities for students to earn Student Fundraising Credits, which can be applied toward program-related expenses, including trip costs, audition and performance fees and more.
We’re in the final days of our online Cloud9 Bed Sheet Fundraiser (ends Friday, October 10) and have just soft-launched our online Kringle Candle & Home Fundraiser (from the family of Yankee Candle) — registration is now open! We’re also thrilled to kick off our Delicious Orchards Thanksgiving Pies on Monday, October 13.
We’ll also host our annual Clothing Drive and partnered with Jersey Mike’s for a brand-new Dine to Donate event that this year will give back 50% of all sales!
Be sure to save the date for our next 2 major events! We will be hosting our Holiday Vendor Fair on Sunday, November 23 at Parks and Rec and Tricky Tray Fundraiser on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at the Nutley Elks Lodge. Additional details on how to get involved in the Tricky Tray are found below.
If you are still not a member, now is the perfect time to join or renew your Nutley Music Boosters membership for the 2025–26 school year! Membership is just $25 per family and directly supports our programs while giving your student full eligibility for fundraising credits and for seniors, our scholarships. Please reach out if you are unsure of your membership status before purchasing. If you have a student in marching band, you are all set!
Please make sure you’ve joined our BAND App, the main hub for all announcements, fundraisers, and volunteer sign-ups. And don’t forget to regularly check the Parent Info Hub for updates, event details, and new opportunities throughout the year.
We are grateful for your continued support and community spirit!

Our fundraising program allows families to earn Student Fundraising Credits to help offset music-related expenses such as trip fees, uniforms, and other program costs. These credits are earned by participating in designated fundraisers and are applied directly to the student’s balance.
We’re thrilled to share that one of our students has already raised over $2,100 through their Individual Donation Page, showing just how effective these opportunities can be when shared with family and friends!
For Fundraising Chairperson contact information, please consult the notice in the BAND App or attached Fundraising Flyer.
